Remove Press-On Nails Safely

Removing press-on nails the right way is just as important as applying them. Follow these steps to protect your natural nails.

Method 1: Warm Water Soak

  1. Fill a bowl with warm (not hot) soapy water
  2. Soak your nails for 10-15 minutes
  3. Gently peel the press-on nail from one side
  4. If it resists, soak for another 5 minutes

Method 2: Oil Method

  1. Apply cuticle oil or olive oil around the edges of each press-on
  2. Wait 5 minutes for the oil to penetrate
  3. Gently lift from the cuticle end
  4. Wash hands with soap and water

What NOT to Do

  • Never pry or force — This damages your natural nail surface
  • Never use acetone — It can dissolve the nail and weaken natural nails
  • Never bite them off — This causes serious damage

Aftercare

After removal, wash your hands and apply cuticle oil. Buff your natural nails lightly and apply a nourishing nail treatment. Your nails will be healthy and ready for the next BISMA set!
